What is ECE 104?

ECE 104 is an international regulation regulating the use of retro-reflective markings on heavy-duty vehicles. It has already been implemented by many European countries. If you own a heavy vehicle weighing over 7.5 tons or a trailer weighing over 3.5 tons, it is highly recommended that you be informed about this regulation.

How long has ECE 104 been in force?

Although the ECE 104 regulation already exists, as of July 2011, it has become mandatory for heavy vehicles over 7.5 tons or trailers over 3.5 tons in many European Union member and contracting countries.

What is the E Logo?

Products without the E logo are not compatible with the regulation. Our Reflective Strips meet all the reflective requirements of the "Category C" (contour) class, which is the brightest material category that can be applied on the vehicle.

With retro reflectivity coefficients of 300-450 cd/lx/m2, these reflective products can only be used for contour marking.

Retro-reflective materials that comply with the ECE 104 regulation are identified with the “E” logo. This symbol documents that the products have been tested and approved by an independent and authorized center and meet all the requirements of ECE 104.
